Set against the vast, starry expanse of space, the poster features a lone astronaut floating above the ominously glowing surface of a red planet. The tagline, “Some places shouldn’t be explored,” adds an element of suspense, hinting at the dangers and mysteries lurking within this alien world. The title, Red Planet, appears in bold red sans-serif font at the bottom of the poster, situated where the light fades into shadow on the planet’s surface, symbolizing the thin line between discovery and peril. This design emphasizes high contrast and minimalism, drawing focus to the central figure and enhancing the tension of isolation in an unknown realm. This project demonstrates my skills in composition, typography, and color theory, using bold design choices to convey mood and narrative. By including Red Planet in my portfolio, I aim to showcase my ability to create visually captivating, story-driven designs that engage the viewer’s imagination. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/71ed463c-4095-4a56-a096-5358bc430314/Rock%2BFestival%2BPoster%2BPortfolio%2Bversion.jpg Print Design - RockFest Flyer Project Summary: The RockFest poster is a personal project created to capture the dynamic energy of an indie music festival through bold design and engaging visuals. This conceptual promotional poster highlights Mary Smith as the headliner, with a striking image that sets the tone for the event. Supporting acts Aiko Li and Jonh Smith are showcased with outlined profile images, maintaining a cohesive style and adding depth to the composition. The poster uses a bold sans-serif font for the event title and details, giving it a modern and impactful look. A contrasting color scheme of black, white, and cyan guides the viewer’s eye across key information, such as performance details, perks like free drinks and parking, and the opportunity to win merch and tickets. Designed as an exercise in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, this project demonstrates my ability to create effective promotional material that balances information with aesthetic appeal. Including RockFest in my portfolio highlights my skills in crafting visually compelling, concept-driven designs. https://www.sabrinasummersdesigns.com/logos daily 0.75 2026-10-27 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/8b387bc4-27a7-4745-bcec-3d5eb40c83db/D19+Logo+White+RGB.png Logos - D19 Logo Project Summary: The D19 logo is a personal design project that combines elements of fantasy and tabletop gaming into a sleek, modern logo. The design features a stylized dragon integrated with the letter "D" in an elegant script, with the dragon holding a 20-sided die (d20) in its mouth—an iconic symbol for tabletop RPG enthusiasts. The bold, minimalistic black-and-white color scheme gives the logo a striking appearance, enhancing its versatility and making it suitable for both print and digital media. This project demonstrates my skills in branding and illustration, focusing on creating a recognizable logo that appeals to the gaming community. By integrating fantasy themes with a clean and professional aesthetic, this logo showcases my ability to develop designs that are both visually appealing and meaningful to a niche audience. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/54ed3dae-5fa5-4b82-b734-d2df17894681/Teenshop+logo-06.png Logos - Teenshop Logo Project Summary: The Teenshop logo is a vibrant and meaningful design created for an organization aimed at empowering youth. The design features the word "TEENSHOP," with a stylized key replacing the "T" in TEEN, symbolizing the idea of unlocking potential and providing the "key" to success. The tagline, "The Key to your Success," reinforces this message, making it clear that Teenshop is dedicated to supporting personal growth and success. The color palette of purples conveys a sense of creativity, ambition, and encouragement. This design combines simplicity with strong symbolism, creating an approachable and memorable brand identity that speaks to the target audience. This project exemplifies my ability to merge symbolism with clean, modern design to communicate a brand's core message effectively. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/f9b1330f-ac9d-4c49-b6e2-84ede45164a0/Untitled+Logo+for+Website.png Logos - Untitled Podcast Project Summary: As a member of the podcast team, I took the initiative to design a logo that captured the essence of our brand. I began by sketching out initial concepts, exploring bold, graphic letterforms. One early idea featured a prominent letter P with the word untitled centered within it. After sharing the sketch with my boyfriend, he suggested a creative twist—using negative space to integrate a U into the bottom of the P. Inspired by that feedback, I refined the concept, eventually placing the U within the P using clean negative space. As the design evolved, I had a spark: what if I shaped the U to subtly resemble a microphone? That final touch brought everything together—and the finished logo was born. https://www.sabrinasummersdesigns.com/heroforge-designs daily 0.75 2026-10-27 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/df5d33bd-385b-42da-ad73-48fc6ce0c9fb/Errk+screenshot+-+Copy.png Heroforge Designs - Errk Errk Char: Male-Aarakocra-Ranger-Lv 20 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/f4237c27-94d8-4385-9891-d29bba2e975a/Serphina_screenshot+%281%29.png Heroforge Designs - Seraphina Delmar Female-Fallen Aasimar-Paladin: Oath of the Open Sea -Lv 7 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/ba10e7a2-cbb0-48f5-bc2f-93ffe137fd33/Neo+Davis++screenshot.png Heroforge Designs - Neo Davis Locathah-Blood Hunter: Order of the Profane Soul-Lv 3 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/7ea1a84d-5ac7-4131-aa4e-7da057b1476e/Raven+screenshot.png Heroforge Designs - Raven Reborn-Bard-Lv 1 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/23968062-fcf3-4abb-893f-7316bd02fd94/Kayla+screenshot.png Heroforge Designs - Kayla-Human Non-Binary-Variant Human/Auto gnome-Wizard: School of Necromancy-LV 20 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/79855bbc-1e9a-48f5-9a24-0613c2f39bb3/Poot+screenshot.png Heroforge Designs - Poot/Kayla- Auto gnome version Non-Binary-Variant Human/Auto gnome-Wizard: School of Necromancy-LV 20 https://www.sabrinasummersdesigns.com/character-designs daily 0.75 2026-10-27 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1748874437126-K5TW48Y6O35Y928FSNSY/Budzilla+in+Philly+RGB+JPG+WM.jpg Character Designs - Budzilla T-Shirt Design This design is part of a custom cannabis-themed T-shirt collection created for a client. I recently dipped my toes into this world through a Discord server that has a dedicated art trade section. That’s where I stumbled across Grimblade’s thread—and well, the rest is history! They offered several characters to choose from, and I couldn’t resist their edgy-looking cat OC. In return, I offered up an early concept design of my gamer girl persona, Gigi, for Grimblade to draw. They finished their half of the trade super fast, while I, true to form, took forever and a half. I felt pretty bad for being so slow, but I was determined to do it justice. --- Process I started out traditionally with some thumbnail sketches to explore facial expressions and poses. Once I settled on my favorite pose, I created a full-page sketch of the character in that position. From there, I moved into the digital stage, where the real work began. --- Challenges I’m still getting used to using 3D mannequins to help with pose reference and proportions, and I definitely struggled a bit. Posing the mannequin’s hand around a juice box was unexpectedly tricky! Another hiccup: I completely forgot to include the scars from my original traditional sketch when I started the digital version—super frustrating, since they would’ve been fun to draw. Lighting was also a challenge. I didn't get the contrast between light and dark that I was aiming for, so more lighting studies are definitely in my future. All in all, it took me about a month to finish this piece. I really don’t like making people wait, and it's frustrating feeling like I draw so slowly. --- Accomplishments Despite the struggles, I’m proud of what I achieved with this artwork. I had fun adding rim lighting, a speech bubble, blood effects, and a border to tie it all together. Most importantly, I completed my very first art trade—something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time! --- Final Thoughts This first art trade pushed me out of my comfort zone, but the end result turned out even better than I expected. I learned a lot about my process and where I can improve, especially when it comes to lighting and efficiency. I’m already gearing up for my next trade—and I can’t wait to keep learning and growing! https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1748874438396-J25N7Q86F211GUECT02Q/IMG_20210903_215208_966.jpg Character Designs - DnD Character Design https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1748876850184-FLZTT3ALDARHUXSOHEIU/Bakuraka+Anifusion.png Character Designs - Anifusion Character: Bakuraka https://www.sabrinasummersdesigns.com/youtube-thumbnails daily 0.75 2026-10-27 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749484358428-ZC5ULZ6GWO5MP41YUFNP/Anifusion.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749484358441-2LKGO0FHJWWCNA5FVHH2/Copy+of+Anifusion.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481543675-0GKWCRZUU6GE38VAMTDO/Art+channel+Thumbnails.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481544085-IB1HYSATOO1EE60JY2G7/Artboard+1.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481545664-HLXLTJ62QVIRJ53FWXQC/Artboard+16.png Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481545529-E0H3HXTVQOLSO3GFUH67/Artboard+18.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481548272-GZIFZS9HAACJOJ1A6HBR/FF+7+Episode+1.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481548585-1W8K9C1HDYSIKEFMH805/FF7+Episode+2+thumb.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481546650-WAOFOZSRRY8ZCBI911KQ/Chain+of+memories+thumb+2.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481549336-CDS4NROYWY2J4Z2QV4IY/God+of+war+thumb.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481549817-3W4ID7K61CY8C51J65SS/Hollow+Knight+Thumb+%281%29.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481550499-BX3CTDCZ98BH6PZBDRCQ/Hollow+Knight+Thumb.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481551960-6B0M6I40WNQDKAJC2TF4/IMG_20180119_105859.png Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481546777-20CFE1GE2JNZQ987C872/Crying+heart+thumb.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/1749481551044-NHDE1KM9CD1JT08MAESI/How+to+make+a+Youtube+Thumbnail.jpg Youtube Thumbnails https://www.sabrinasummersdesigns.com/video-editing daily 0.75 2026-10-27 https://video.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/0fb2b1ab-781d-4f5d-ad8f-6744e71defe9/playlist.m3u8 https://video.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/0fb2b1ab-781d-4f5d-ad8f-6744e71defe9/thumbnail Video editing Video editing https://video.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/2d130da0-00a8-4054-b7ec-159a3e4002c8/playlist.m3u8 https://video.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58fa49cd2994ca5042821668/2d130da0-00a8-4054-b7ec-159a3e4002c8/thumbnail Video editing Video editing https://www.sabrinasummersdesigns.com/work-with-me daily 0.75 2026-10-27 https://www.sabrinasummersdesigns.com/my-origin-story daily 0.75 2026-10-27
